Whitewater Country Club Junior Golf Program

**Open House - Monday, May 19th from 5 to 7 PM at WWCC. Come to learn all about the program and to Sign-Up!

BASIC INFORMATION  
Ages: Between 7 and 17 years old  
Dates/Times: Every Monday from June 16th to August 11th from 7:30 AM to Noon *Please pick up junior golfers no later than 12:30 PM
Cost: $100 for Junior Golf Membership + $50 for the lessons program *Junior Golf cost is $125 for those NOT in the program
Lessons: Scheduled between 7:30 and 10 AM (grouped on age and experience)  
Lunch: Is available for those in the program for $4 from 11 AM to Noon  
Rules/Etiquette: All WWCC Rules and Etiquette standards MUST be followed  
Equipment: All junior golfers are required to have clubs, balls and tees  
Carts: NO junior members may drive a cart during the program *No one under age 16 may ever drive a cart at WWCC
Applications: Each member must fill out both Juniors & Lesson applications *Applications available in packet or at the Clubhouse

 

EVENT CALENDAR

May 19 Open House Participants can register or come for info at the WWCC from 5 to 7 PM
June 16 Least # of Putts Players will keep track of putts taken on course. Lowest number from each lesson group wins
June 23 Par 3 Challenge The course will be transformed into a Par 3. Lowest score in each group will be the winner
June 30 Blind Best Ball Randomly pair 2 juniors after they play. Best score of each hole recorded and winner determined
July 4 -Parade- No Golf - Juniors will march in the WW 4th of July Parade. More details to come...
July 7 Medal Play I Low total score in each lesson group will be declared the winner
July 14 Competitive Holes Competitions at certain holes (longest drive/putt, closest to the pin, etc.) with winners from each group
July 21 Medal Play II Low total score in each lesson group will be declared the winner
July 28 Scramble Teams of 5. All players play next shot from best of 5 and so on. Lowest scoring team is the winner
August 4 Skills Challenge Skill winners (chipping, putting, etc.) from each group determined from various challenges
August 11 Rain Day/Make-Up TBD - make-up whichever event had to be cancelled (if necessary only)
August 17 Banquet/Awards Noon to 2 PM in WWCC Clubhouse. Annual buffet lunch and awards ceremony
TBD 2-Ball Tournament Will be played throughout the weeks of Juniors. Process, pairings and schedule will be determined.

 

JUNIOR MEMBER HOURS OF PLAY
Besides the Junior Golf Program hours, junior members over the age of 14 may play during any time open to all regular members. Junior members 13 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 16 years of age. They may play during any time open to all regular members Monday through Friday. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, junior members 13 years and younger may only play after 2 PM. Please call ahead, as hours of play are subject to change due to tournaments or other events.
